We know that no matter how hard they try the minimum wage simply is not enough for some parents to make ends meet and give children the best chance in life. Our petition asks the government to help families and children in Wales have a fairer future.

Watch our great new film at http://bit.ly/JsY4pZ and sign up to our petition at http://bit.ly/KhWI3n to show your support.

If you don’t already follow us on twitter we are @savechildrencym the hashtag for the campaign will be #livingwage

We are looking to get the link distributed as widely as possible and lots of people to sign up to the petition so please spread the word and sign up to show your support!

Programme Manager
Full Fixed-term, full time position until December 2014
£34,138 per annum (annual incremental rises to end of contract).
Time to Change Wales is Wales’s most ambitious, high profile
campaign aiming to end the stigma and discrimination experienced
by people with mental health problems.
Working closely with Time to Change in England an experienced
and influential partnership between three leading Welsh mental
health charities Gofal, Hafal and Mind Cymru has been formed to
deliver the campaign. As Programme Manager you will lead the
in the effective development, management and delivery of the campaign
through a series of national and local projects against the backdrop of a
high profile national awareness campaign.
You will bring strong senior level experience coupled with an ability to
thrive in complex and demanding environments. You will be results
driven and demonstrate performance orientated leadership in pursuit of
campaign outcomes and objectives.
Critically you will demonstrate both a deep understanding of the effects of
discrimination and a personal commitment to delivering social change,
specifically as it relates to people experiencing mental health problems.
This is a unique opportunity for the right individual. If you would
like to play a part in ending mental health discrimination in Wales
we would love to hear from you.
The Programme Manager will be based with Mind Cymru in Cardiff.
Closing date: Thursday 26th January 2012
